CJS Environmental Waste to Energy

CJS Environmental is always looking for ways to better serve our community, and waste disposal is no exception.  They are a registered and licensed transferor of waste and offer this service to their customers.  All waste is transferred to a third party partner for incineration.  This waste is recycled for energy usage.

It is important that different types of waste are disposed of responsibly and CJS Environmental provides an efficient and compliant waste transfer service for the waste, such as sharps, soft clinical waste, feminine hygiene and nappy waste.


What does CJS Environmental do?


  • endeavours to ensure that customers follow the Environmental Protection Act 1990 legal 'duty of care approach to waste. It is the responsibility of companies to ensure that waste produced at their premises is correctly managed right up to the point of final disposal
  • provides a regular service with full maintenance and can produce all legally required audit trail documents and waste transfer documentation, if required
  • operates a 'Duty of Care' process and retains all waste transfer notes for two years, helping customers comply with their legal obligations
  • undertakes an annual review of their operations with all customers and provides an annual waste report
